Good article and thanks for this information and this is really very informative. The classic cars are awesome and such cars need to be taken a lot of care. Classic cars have insurance which is getting quite cheap and also provides good schemes/policy and benefits which is really very helpful and also can save money on insurance. The insurance for classic cars is suitable and is available for you and for your teens too.

Where is a good place to get classic car insurance that will let me commute – not only use the car for shows?Most insurance that I’m looking into for classic cars are not willing to insure your car if you commute to work and school. They only want to insure cars that are used in shows, parades, etc. I will not drive my car every single day to work…maybe a few times during the week. I bought the car to enjoy it, not let it sit in the garage!- Pam

These large companies are also able to insure your modern car at the same time and may even have a discount scheme for multiple policies. Often, the cost of an old car insurance policy is higher with this type of company but many owners feel the extra cost is worth it as they fell much safer knowing the company is well known and has a long history.

Have you tried Classic Collectors by Infinity? They write quite a few modified classics. The age of the Regal should qualify it as a classic, but there may be mileage restrictions so if it’s a regular use auto, it may not meet the qualifications.

We are looking for an antique auto insurer that will underwrite a 1987 Buick Regal with a hydrolic sysstem that raises and lowers the car when it is turned on – Hagerty will not take it because of the age of the regular use autos. American Mod has turned it down due to the year and make of auto. Grundy will not take it with the Hydrolic system – so do you have a company we can work with?
